Morning Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you this morning, grateful for your love and protection.
We ask for your special care over our new chickens. Keep them safe from harm, and help them to settle into their new home.
Grant Mia peace and clarity as she continues her exams. Calm her nerves, help her recall what she has learned, and guide her to the right answers.
Bless Anna as she helps set up science experiments today. Give her skill and attention to detail, and may she contribute to exciting discoveries.
Be with Abi as she delves deeper into her Psychology degree. Open her mind to new understanding, and grant her wisdom as she learns about the human mind and behaviour.
Lord, as I meet with the students from Fowey today, fill me with your Spirit. Help me to inspire them, to build their confidence, and to ignite a passion for learning. Show them the freedom and joy that comes from knowing you.
We pray for the meal tonight, that it will be a time of fellowship and laughter with our teacher friends. Bless the food and the company, and may it be a time of refreshment and connection.
As we look forward to the half-term holidays, we pray for quality family time. Help us to create special memories together and to enjoy each other’s company.
We lift up Abi as she prepares to change her hair colour next week. May she be pleased with the results and feel confident in her appearance.
Above all, Lord, we pray for forgiveness where we have fallen short, and for a deeper faith in your goodness and grace.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Evening Prayer
Dear Lord,
As the day ends, we thank you for your faithfulness.
Thank you for watching over our new chickens, for guiding Mia through her exams, for giving Anna skill in her work, and for being with Abi in her studies.
Thank you for the opportunity to connect with the students from Fowey today. We pray that the seeds of inspiration planted will grow and flourish.
We are grateful for the meal we shared with friends and for the promise of family time during the holidays.
Lord, we bring our anxieties to you and ask for your peace to fill our hearts. Forgive us when we doubt and help us to trust in your unfailing love.
“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7
Amen.
