But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.
Luke 6:35
How hard is it to read these verses and then act on them? In your own strength, impossible. If you are thoroughly grounded in Jesus’ love, then the commands become easy. It is only with the Holy Spirit’s drenching can we hope to fulfil this command.
May you be poor in misfortune,
Rich in blessings,
Slow to make enemies,
And quick to make friends.
But rich or poor, quick or slow,
May you know nothing but happiness
From this day forward. Amen.
