Chickens

What a horrendous week! We lost all of our lovely chickens. It’s been so hard saying goodbye to our feathery friends, and the garden feels strangely empty without them.

We’ve been busy rebuilding their enclosure and this time we’re adding a roof to give them even more protection. Tuesday is the big day – our new flock arrives! We’ve got a fun mix coming:

• 3 x Ben Eggy’s (White Star) – can’t wait for those lovely white eggs!
• A Sue and an Oli (Speckledy) – love their gorgeous markings
• 2 x Nuggets (Rhode Rock) – hoping for lots of lovely brown eggs from these two.

Fingers crossed this new chapter brings lots of happy chicken-y moments!
