“Repent and believe” means to say sorry for things we do wrong and to trust in God’s love. It’s like saying, “I’m sorry, and I want to be close to God.” So, when we hear “repent and believe,” it’s an invitation to be sorry for mistakes and to trust that God loves us and helps us do better.
