Parables

A parable is a special story that teaches us something important. It’s not just any story, though – it’s a story that helps us understand something about how to be good, kind, and loving. It’s a hidden message encouraging us to change, sometimes in very dramatic ways. In the Bible, Jesus told many parables to share lessons with people.
