Mark 12:28-34: A Lesson in Love

In this passage, we encounter Jesus having a conversation with a teacher of the law. This teacher asks Jesus a simple yet profound question: “Which commandment is the most important of all?”

Jesus responds by summarising the entirety of God’s law into two core commands:

1. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength.
2. Love your neighbour as yourself.
