Joy in God

Then he said to them, “Go your way. Eat the fat and drink sweet wine and send portions to anyone who has nothing ready, for this day is holy to our Lord. And do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

Nehemiah 8:10

The day that is talked about, is the day when Israel came together in national morning and repented of their national sin. It was the day that things were put right with God. We no longer need to wait for a particular day or time, we can be put right with God with 3 simple words, I am sorry. That is our joy that we can be united with God in 3 little words. Rejoice today.

Be thou my vision,
O Lord of my heart,
Be all else but naught to me,
Save that thou art;
Be thou my best thought
In the day and the night,
Both waking and steeping,
Thy presence my light. Amen.
