And in the beginning there was none!
Grand ideas sometimes just have to start.
1-2First this: God created the Heavens and Earth—all you see, all you don’t see. Earth was a soup of nothingness, a bottomless emptiness, an inky blackness. God’s Spirit brooded like a bird above the watery abyss.
3-5God spoke: “Light!”
And light appeared.
God saw that light was good
and separated light from dark.
God named the light Day,he named the dark Night.
Genesis 1 v 1-8
It was evening, it was morning—
Day One.
6-8God spoke: “Sky! In the middle of the waters;
separate water from water!”
God made sky.
He separated the water under sky
from the water above sky.
And there it was:
he named sky the Heavens;
It was evening, it was morning—
Wow, this is amazing. Can you believe it? God (the three of them) have this wonderful idea and they create this awesome world, day by day, finishing with their prized creation, Adam and Eve.
When you create, ponder this. You are using your God given gift. As God created so are you. Think of the years gone by, when God came up with the idea to make and now here you are about to start on an epic journey. It might be a simple swirl or a masterpiece, just remember to thank God who created you and created you to create.
