Monday (4th) We are giving a PAIS worker a home for the week whilst she works at CreationFest. We needed to drop her off and then pick her up in Wadebridge. This is something we would like to do more of as a family and one reason why we would love to buy some land.
Tuesday (5th). Met with PAIS team today to talk through the options around having a team in Cornwall. It is expensive and we still need to find our salary! I picked Anna (PAIS worker) from Wadebridge and met with the boss. Meantime, Anna (GUCU) is fielding messages around our trip to CreationFest.
Wednesday (6th) I posted more around this day elsewhere but we grabbed the minibus and headed over to the festival for the day. We took 3 adults and 5 young people. One young person became a Christian.
Thursday (8th) We took an extra young person today. Rosie saw and met with Chloe Reynolds a christian singer who has offered to keep in email contact and mentor her. Rich has been networking the whole time and we worked hard at getting the youn people into the sessions (it was not easy but all got value out when they stayed in).
Rich has to opportunity to be a Pais team leader, to undergo training this year and then support the Cornwall team from September 2020. This is an unpaid role. Training is free but will need to cover transport to training (in Leicester!)
Friday (9th) Dropped Pais worker (Anna) with her team at Trago which concluded an exciting week.
